Sliding Windows

A sliding window is usually comprised of two distinct panes (or “sashes”) that slide from left to right (or right to left) so the window can be opened from the side and provide full top-to-bottom ventilation. Some sliding windows are able to open from either side, depending on the type and style. Due to the sliding nature of the windows, they are extremely easy to open and provide great ventilation without sacrificing glass area.
